September 6th, 2026 - Denver, CO

The Park Hill United Methodist Church Racial Justice Bell Ringers have been proudly ringing for six years.

Their journey began all those years ago in response to murder of George Floyd. That, along with the many other racial injustices people face, inspired the ringers.

So, on June 17th, 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic and with rioting for racial justice occurring  in Denver, they began.

Along Montview Blvd, in front of Park Hill UMC, you will find them ringing handbells every week on Monday at 12pm for 9 minutes at 29 seconds.

If you would like to join the ringers feel free to show up on the Montview Blvd side of the church by 11:45am on Mondays.

You may also contact Ruth Ann Russell for more information at church@phumc.org.
