THE IMPORTANCE OF NOW
Park Hill United Methodist Church (PHUMC) is on a beautiful journey—one that has brought us closer as a congregation and clarified our shared vision for the future.
PHUMC Vision Statement: We envision a world where all people thrive in life, love, and liberation.
PHUMC Mission Statement: Our mission is to reclaim and reimagine Christian Faith and Church to empower the marginalized, dismantle oppression, and create justice.
Through months of prayer, planning, and deep listening, we’ve had the incredible opportunity to connect with so many of you, hear your hopes, and imagine what’s possible together.
We now stand at a defining moment. By beginning to renovate our outdated church spaces, we can increase our capacity to serve, improve safety and accessibility, and create more welcoming spaces for worship, fellowship, and mission-driven work. This is about more than just bricks and mortar—it’s about strengthening our ability to live out God’s love in the heart of our community.
The need is clear, and the opportunity is extraordinary. Together, we can build a more sustainable future for PHUMC—one that honors our legacy and opens the doors wider for generations to come. Your commitment today will help create a sacred, inclusive space where justice, mercy, worship, and peace come alive for all who enter.
We hope you’ll join us.

THE CAPITAL CAMPAIGN SONG
Bring It Home (LYRICS)
We stand in the tension of differences
We’re holding up our candles of hope
We’ve been ringing bells on Mondays to remember
We’ve come a long way but still have far to go
We’ve come a long way but still have far to go
We have sheltered those seeking freedom
And hosted those with no shelter of their own
We’re feeding those who are hungry
And holding close in care the ones who are alone
And holding close in care the ones who are alone
Tend to the flock - that’s the mission
Being faithful to the call is good and true
We have built on the rock our place to gather
And this foundation we must take care of, too
And this foundation we must take care of, too
These walls have held our joys and sorrows
Precious is this wood and stone
The success of our mission depends on our foundation – 1st time through
Tend the flock, mend the rock, bring it home
Tend the flock, mend the rock, bring it home
This is our base camp for climbing Jacob’s Ladder – 2nd time through
Tend the flock, mend the rock, bring it home
Tend the flock, mend the rock, bring it home
Tend the flock, mend the rock, bring it home
